Fourth and Cherry's Response and Reaction to COVID-19
3/23/2020
This week we feel the need to take the next step in providing a safe environment for our customers. Beginning Tuesday, March 24th, our dining room will no longer be open to the public. We are eager to continue to serve you all through carry-out lunches, as well as pints and casseroles to-go. We are happy to provide curb-side service as well for those who wish to remain in their vehicles. We hope that we are able to meet your needs, while protecting the health and safety of everyone who enters our doors. We are here to serve you!

In light of the recent scare of COVID-19, we wanted to take a moment to let you know how we are handling things at the Fourth and Cherry Co. The Shoppes and Cafe will be open for business as usual this week. We are taking this very seriously and are doing everything in our power to disinfect, and maintain clean surfaces throughout the store. Our mission is to be a place for people to gather, visit, relax, and enjoy life and that is not changing. The only difference is that our gathering place is much more sanitized! In addition to our daily cleaning measures, we have increased the frequency of our procedures and are taking extra precautions by disinfecting door knobs, handrails and counters multiple times a day. We encourage everyone to wash your hands more often, feel free to help yourself to hand sanitizer and please don’t be offended if we don’t shake your hand or offer you a hug. It is so hard for us southerners not to hug!
We believe that we can all be smart and approach this current problem cautiously. We also believe that we can put fear aside and rest in the fact that our Amazing and All-Powerful God is in control. We hope and pray that everyone in our community remains healthy and virus-free. We also hope that those who are able, will continue to live life as normally as possible, and continue to support your local and small businesses. Pick up lunch to go, visit a local park, and pick up a reasonable amount of groceries on the way home. We are all in this together and we know that if we continue to support each other in our beautiful, small-town way, we will make it through together.
If you are having to stay in because of health reasons, please don’t hesitate to call if we can be of assistance to you. We will gladly help with gift purchases over the phone, or run your lunch order out to your car if you don’t feel comfortable coming in. We love our Fourth and Cherry family and want to be as helpful as possible to all of you during these uncertain times!
Love to you all, Matt, Roxie and the Fourth and Cherry Team
